ESTABLISHMENT OF

DISTRICTS

§ 151.035 DISTRICTS DESIGNATED.

   (A)   For the purpose of this chapter the city is hereby divided into seven principle districts, designated as follows:
      Residential District - R-1 (Low Density)
      Residential District - R-1S (Single Unit Low Density)
      Residential District - R-2 (Medium Density)
      Central Business District - B-l
      Neighborhood-Highway Business District - B-2
      Light Industrial District - I-I
      Heavy Industrial District - I-2
   (B)   In addition two overlay districts are created, designated as:
      Floodplain District - FP-1
      Floodplain District - FP-2.

§ 151.036 BOUNDARIES OF DISTRICTS.

   (A)   The boundaries of the districts are hereby established as shown on the zoning map which is on file in the office of the City Clerk-Treasurer. The city expressly adopts the May 2024 map of the zoning boundaries and city limits as the official version of its designations based on the recommendation and approval of the Cadiz-Trigg County Planning Commission.
   (B)   Unless otherwise shown on the zoning map, the boundary lines of districts are lot lines, the center lines of streets or alleys, or such lines extended, railroad right-of-way lines, the, center line of creeks or corporate limit line as it existed at the time of enactment of this chapter.
   (C)   Questions concerning the exact location of district boundary lines shall be determined by the Board of Zoning Adjustment.
