The Zoning Code of the City of Cheney, Kansas began in-­house in 2020 with the assistance of Municipal Code Corporation. This Zoning Code shall be cited as Cheney Zoning Ordinance or “CZO” as an acronym. CZO references found within the code maintain a structure by subject matter using a decimal and hyphenated numbering system which identifies the chapter and section (for example: 1.01). This complete set of numbers is designed to aid in searching and/or referencing the Zoning Code, and to assist in subsequent codification as new ordinances are added to the Zoning Code.
