SERVICE STATIONS

Sec. 44-233.- Lot size.

A lot to be occupied by a service station shall be not less than 100 feet in width and 100 feet in depth.

Sec. 44-234. - Location.

No service station shall be allowed within 250 feet of any church, hospital, public school, public library, stadium, arena or private school.

Sec. 44-235. - Clearance required.

(a)

Gasoline pumps shall not be allowed within 20 feet of any street property line nor 15 feet from any other property line.

(b)

Service station buildings or gasoline pumps shall not be allowed within 25 feet of any property which is residentially zoned.

Sec. 44-236. - Protective wall.

Where lots to be used for service stations abut on any property which is residentially zoned or zoned C-1, there shall be a wall of good quality and design on all property lines other than street lines.

Sec. 44-237. - Driveways.

There shall be no more than two exit/entrance driveways for every 100 feet of street frontage. The width of such driveways shall not be over 42 feet. There shall be at least ten feet between driveways.
