Property owners may make application for zoning district changes to their property by submitting a district boundary amendment petition on forms available from the Zoning Administrator. All such zoning district changes shall be made by ordinance. Petitions for district boundary amendments must include the following:
1. Property legal description.
2. Names, addresses and telephone numbers of all property owners.
3. Existing and proposed zoning district.
4. Reason for petition.
5. Map of the property drawn to scale showing the location of all existing buildings and physical features.
6. Vicinity map of the property showing all property located within 200 feet of the subject property exterior boundaries and the names and addresses of all persons owning property within the 200 foot area.
7. Where the application for a zoning district change does not include the entire contiguous lands of the property owner, a master plan for the development of the entire property shall be submitted, which at a minimum includes proposed future land uses, proposed collector and arterial streets and proposed future infrastructure improvements. Said plan shall be in conformity to the City’s future land use plan and show how the proposed zoning district changes coincides with future proposed uses and improvements.
