- COMMON REGULATIONS APPLICABLE TO ALL DISTRICTS

10-101 - ACCESSORY STRUCTURES AND USES

Accessory structures and uses are permitted in all districts subject to the provisions of Section 8-101 of this Zoning Ordinance.

10-102 - TEMPORARY USES

Temporary uses are permitted in all districts subject to the provisions of Section 8-103 of this Zoning Ordinance.

10-103 - PARKING & LOADING REQUIREMENTS

The parking and loading requirements applicable in all districts are set forth in Sections 8-104 and 8-105 of this Zoning Ordinance.

10-104 - SIGN REGULATIONS

Sign regulations applicable in all districts are set forth in Section 8-106 of this Zoning Ordinance.

10-105 - BUFFERS & LANDSCAPING

Requirements relating to buffering and landscaping of certain uses and structures in all districts are set forth in Section 8-107 of this Zoning Ordinance.

10-106 A - Specified Structures and Uses in Required Yards.

The following structures and uses, except as limited below, may be located in any required yard.

1.

Accessory uses, subject to the limitations of Section 8-101 of this Zoning Ordinance.

2.

Statuary, arbors, trellises, and ornamental light standards having a height of ten feet or less.

3.

Awnings, canopies, eaves, and gutters projecting not more than three feet from an exterior wall.

4.

Bay windows and balconies projecting not more than three feet from an exterior wall for a distance not more than one-third of the length of such wall; provided that such projections shall come entirely within planes drawn from the main corners of the building at an interior angle of 22.5 degrees with the wall in question.

5.

Chimneys, flues, belt courses, leaders, sills, pilasters, lintels, ornamental features, cornices, and the like projecting not more than two feet from an exterior wall.

6.

Outside stairways projecting from an exterior door not more than three feet, and having a height of four feet or less.

7.

Flagpoles.

8.

Laundry drying lines, in the rear yard only.

9.

Off-street parking and loading of vehicles, but only as expressly authorized and regulated in Sections 8-101, 8-104, and 8-105 of this Zoning Ordinance.

10.

Terraces.

11.

Recreational devices, except in front yards.

12.

Fences, walls, and hedges, subject to the limitations of Section 8-107 of this Zoning Ordinance.
