CHAPTER 4

ZONING DISTRICTS; MAP

§ 11-4-1 DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED.

   For the purpose of this title, the City is hereby divided into classes or zones to be known in order of restrictiveness beginning with the most restrictive as follows:
   (A)   Residential districts:
      (1)   A Agricultural (General);
      (2)   R-1 Residential (Estate);
      (3)   R-2 Residential (Single-Family);
      (4)   R-3 Residential (Mobile Home Neighborhood);
      (5)   R-4 Residential (Duplex or Two-Family Dwelling);
      (6)   R-4A Four-Family Residential;
      (7)   R-5 Townhouse;
      (8)   R-6 Mobile Home Park; and
      (9)   R-7 Residential (Multi-Family).
   (B)   Commercial districts:
      (1)   C-O Commercial Office;
      (2)   C-1 Light Commercial;
      (3)   C-2 Planned Business Center;
      (4)   C-3 General Commercial; and
      (5)   C-4 Commercial (Central Business).
   (C)   Industrial districts:
      (1)   I-1 Planned Industrial Park;
      (2)   I-2 Industrial (Light); and
      (3)   I-3 Industrial (Heavy).
   (D)   Special Use District: SU Special Use; and
   (E)   Supplemental zones:
      (1)   PUD Planned Unit Development;
      (2)   HP Historical Preservation;
      (3)   F Flood Hazard;
      (4)   ETS Enid Town Square Overlay;
      (5)   AED Airfield Environs Overlay; and
      (6)   CIO Commercial Incentive Overlay.

§ 11-4-2 ZONING MAP; BOUNDARIES OF ZONES.

   Boundaries of the zones referred to in § 11-4-1 are hereby established as shown on the map entitled “Zoning Map, Enid, Oklahoma” and bearing date of adoption of this title. This map shall be kept by the City as a permanent record, and which map is hereby made a part of this title. The City shall keep the zoning map up to date, and on file at all times, showing the latest amendments hereby adopted.

§ 11-4-3 ZONING OF ANNEXED AREAS.

   Any area annexed to the City after the effective date of this title shall immediately, upon such annexation, be automatically classified in the zone according to the use which is being made of the property on the date of annexation. Such use shall be designated and established by ordinance.
