ARTICLE II

Residential Districts

§ 99-7 R-1 Districts (one-family residential).

A. 
Permitted use. The following use is permitted in the R-1 District: a single-family detached dwelling and accessory structures and uses as provided in Article V of this chapter.
B. 
Special uses. A building may be erected, altered or used for any purpose set forth in this subsection only when authorized by the Board of Trustees as a special use after a public hearing conducted by the Board of Trustees and for no other:
(1) 
Church or other place of worship.
(2) 
Parish house, rectory or Sunday school.
(3) 
Public library, fire station, park or playground, public or private school.

§ 99-8 R-2 District (two-family residential).

A. 
Permitted uses. The following uses are permitted in the R-2 District:
(1) 
A single-family detached dwelling and accessory structures and uses as provided in Article V of this chapter.
(2) 
A two-family detached dwelling and accessory structures and uses as provided in Article V of this chapter.
B. 
Special uses. A building may be erected, altered or used for any purpose set forth in this subsection only when authorized by the Board of Trustees as a special use after a public hearing conducted by the Board of Trustees and for no other:
(1) 
Church or other place of worship.
(2) 
Parish house, rectory or Sunday school.
(3) 
Public library, fire station, park or playground, public or private school.

§ 99-9 R-A District (multiple dwelling).

A. 
Permitted uses. The following uses are permitted in the R-A District:
(1) 
A single-family detached dwelling and accessory structures and uses as provided in Article V of this chapter.
(2) 
A two-family detached dwelling and accessory structures and uses as provided in Article V of this chapter.
(3) 
A multifamily dwelling and accessory structures and uses as provided in Article V of this chapter.
B. 
Special use. A building may be erected, altered or used for any purpose set forth in this subsection only when authorized by the Board of Trustees as a special use after a public hearing conducted by the Board of Trustees and for no other:
(1) 
Church or other place of worship.
(2) 
Parish house, rectory or Sunday school.
(3) 
Public library, fire station, park or playground, public or private school.
(4) 
A senior citizen multifamily residence comprised of independent living units or assisted living units or a combination thereof and accessory structures and uses as provided in Article V of this chapter.
(5) 
Center for youth activities.
