This district provides supplemental restrictions to protect and enhance water quality, public safety, and public recreational opportunities on the Catawba River and its waterways. This District covers the surface waters of the Catawba River and its waterways and all land areas within 1,000 feet of these shorelines. The shoreline shall be measured at the mean high water mark (i.e., the 570-foot contour level for Lake Wylie) of the Catawba River and said waterways.
