This district protects and preserve the landscape of areas that lie adjacent to designated Special Highways. Development that takes place on land near highways shall maximize the aesthetics and development potential of the area through the application of additional development standards. The (SH) district shall consist of all lots fronting on the Special Highway for a depth of 500 feet as measured from the centerline of the Special Highway for a total width of 1,000 feet, unless otherwise indicated on the Zoning Map.
