§ 17.22.020 Principal uses.
Principal uses permitted outright in general commercial districts shall include:
Residential uses; provided, that all residential dwellings permitted comply with the multifamily residential district (R-3) development standards of Section 17.12.050;
Veterinary clinics when located not closer than one hundred fifty feet to any residential district and four hundred feet or more of any hospital, nursing home, or institution for the care of the infirm; providing that all animals are housed indoors;
Ministorage facility as defined in Section 17.04.556.

§ 17.22.030 Accessory uses.
Accessory buildings shall not be permitted on a parcel prior to the existence of a principal use (see definition, Section 17.04.040). Accessory uses permitted in general commercial districts shall include:
All business, service, repair, processing, or storage shall be conducted wholly within an enclosed building, except for off-street parking and for automobile service stations;
Processes and equipment and goods processed or sold shall be limited to those which are not objectionable by reason of odor, dust, smoke, cinders, gas, noise, vibration, refuse matter, or water-carried waste;
Other uses deemed by the board of adjustment as similar to and consistent with the intent and purpose of the general commercial zoning district.

§ 17.22.050 Development standards.
The following provisions shall apply in the general commercial district, subject to other provisions of this title, except that where conflicts in regulation occur, the regulations specified in this section or on a development plan approved pursuant to this chapter shall apply:

Parking standards shall be provided in accordance with the terms of Chapter 17.52.
