The intent of this chapter is to establish standards for landscaping and screening, to maintain or replace existing vegetation, provide physical and visual buffers between differing land uses, lessen environmental and improve aesthetic impacts of development and to enhance the overall appearance of the city.

The standards as required by this chapter shall apply to all uses of land which are subject to site plan review, to the construction or location of any multifamily structure of three or more attached dwelling units and to any new subdivision plat.

A plan of the proposed landscaping and screening shall be incorporated into plans submitted for site plan review.
