In interpreting and applying the provisions of this Ordinance such provisions shall be the minimum requirements for the promotion of the public health, safety and general welfare.

All land, and buildings, structures or appurtenances located thereon within the City of Hamilton, Texas, which are hereafter occupied, used, erected, altered, removed, placed, demolished or converted shall be occupied, used, erected, altered, removed, placed, demolished or converted in conformance with the zoning regulations prescribed for the zoning district in which such land, or buildings, structures and appurtenances are located, except as hereinafter provided or subject to penalties as per Section XIII of this Ordinance.
