17.34 P-F

Public Facilities District

17.34.010 Purpose.

The purpose of the P-F public facilities district is to delineate lands owned by public agencies or lands upon which such agencies operate public facilities. (Ord. 1-5-87A § 16(A))

17.34.020 Permitted uses.

The following are permitted uses in the P-F public facilities district:

A. Public buildings;

B. Public schools, parks, playgrounds and recreational facilities;

C. Public fairgrounds and related activities;

D. Airports. (Ord. 1-5-87A § 16(B))

17.34.030 Accessory uses.

Accessory uses and buildings customarily appurtenant to a permitted use are allowed in the P-F public facilities district. (Ord. 1-5-87A § 16(C))

17.34.040 Conditional uses.

The following are conditional uses in the P-F public facilities district:

A. Penal, correctional or detention institutions;

B. Public facilities for the care of mentally and physically handicapped patients;

C. Public shops, repair and storage yards and buildings;

D. Animal shelters or pounds;

E. Cemeteries. (Ord. 1-5-87A § 16(D))

17.34.050 Prohibited uses.

Prohibited uses in the P-F public facilities district are industrial and commercial uses not addressed as permitted under HCC 17.34.020 or 17.34.040. (Ord. 1-5-87A § 16(E))

17.34.060 Height regulations.

There are no height regulations in the P-F public facilities district. (Ord. 1-5-87A § 16(F))

17.34.070 Area and yard requirements.

The following are area and yard requirements for the P-F public facilities district:

A. Lot area, no minimum lot size;

B. Yard requirements:

1. Front yard, ten feet in depth,

2. Side yard, ten feet in depth,

3. Rear yard, ten feet in depth. (Ord. 1-5-87A § 16(G))

17.34.080 Additional requirements.

The following additional requirements apply in the P-F public facilities district:

A. Livestock and poultry not located closer than one hundred feet to a residential building on an adjoining lot;

B. All off-street parking requirements and regulations are as provided in Chapter 17.60 HCC. (Ord. 1-5-87A § 16(H))
