The boundaries of the zoning districts defined in this chapter are established as shown on the map entitled “Official Zoning Map of Jackson, Minnesota,” which map is properly approved and filed in the office of the City Administrator. The map and all of the notations, references, and other information shown thereon shall have the same force and effect as if set forth herein at length.

§ 153.022 MAINTENANCE AND AVAILABILITY OF THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP.
The Official Zoning Map shall be maintained by the Zoning Administrator and shall be available for public inspection during city business hours. Any amendments to zoning district boundaries or any change in any other information shown on the Official Zoning Map made by amendment to this chapter shall be indicated on the Official Zoning Map.

§ 153.023 DISTRICT BOUNDARIES.
In the event that any uncertainty exists with respect to the intended boundaries of the various districts as shown on the Official Zoning Map, the following rules shall apply.
(A) Boundaries indicated as approximately following the centerline of highways, streets, alleys, waterways, railroads or other right-of-ways, unless otherwise indicated, shall be construed as following the centerlines.
(B) Boundaries indicated as approximately following property lines shall be construed as following the lot lines.
(C) Boundaries that do not appear to follow a property line, street centerline or right-of-way line, or where the line is not dimensioned on the map, shall be determined by the scale appearing on the map.

§ 153.024 FUTURE ANNEXATION AND RELATIONSHIP TO THE CITY COMPREHENSIVE PLAN.
(A) Annexation of land. Land annexed to the city after the effective date of this chapter shall be classified automatically upon annexation as being an “Agricultural Residence” district, unless the ordinance or order for annexation designates a different classification. When annexed land is classified pursuant to this section, it shall remain so classified unless and until an application to amend is filed pursuant to this chapter. An application to amend may be filed prior to or contemporaneously with the annexation of the land in question.
(B) Zoning and the Comprehensive Plan. Any application to consider a change in zoning by the city shall concurrently be accompanied by an application to amend the Comprehensive Plan in accordance with the proposed rezoning, if the rezoning is not consistent with the Plan.

ZONING MAP AND ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
§ 153.020 DISTRICTS CREATED.
To carry out the purposes of this chapter, the city establishes the following Zoning Districts:
(A) Residential districts.
(1) Agricultural Residence District - abbreviated “AR.”
(2) Large Lot, One Family Residence District - abbreviated “LR.”
(3) Small Lot, One Family Residence District - abbreviated “R-1.”
(4) One and Two Family Residence District - abbreviated “R-2.”
(5) Multiple Family Residence District - abbreviated “R-3.”
(B) Business districts.
(1) Highway Service Business District - abbreviated “SB.”
(2) Central Business District - abbreviated “CB.”
