Home occupation use shall comply with the following standards:
(A) Home occupations are subject to review by the Zoning Administrator and registration with the Zoning Administrator. The applicant or the Zoning Administrator may refer the request for home occupation permit to the Planning Commission and/or City Council for comment and approval as an interim use permit shall there be question of if the use falls outside the following standards.
(B) The home occupation shall be clearly incidental and subordinate to the residential use of the property.
(C) The home occupation shall be conducted only by persons residing on the premises and a maximum of 1 full-time equivalent employee.
(D) Operation of the home occupation shall be limited to the residential dwelling, an attached garage or an accessory structure.
(E) The home occupation shall not generate excessive employee, customer or client traffic that is detrimental to the character of the surrounding properties.
(F) There shall be no indication of offensive noise, vibration, smoke, dust, odors, heat or glare at or behind the property line.
(G) The home occupation shall not generate hazardous waste unless a plan for off-site disposal of the waste is approved.
(H) The home occupation at a dwelling with an on-site sewage treatment system shall only generate normal domestic household waste unless a plan for off-site disposal of the waste is approved.
(I) Signs shall meet the requirements of this chapter.
(J) Parking shall meet the requirements of this chapter.
(K) Outdoor display or storage of goods, equipment, vehicles, or other materials used for the home extended business shall be prohibited.
