§ 16

LOCAL RETAIL.

16.1 
General Purpose, Definition and Description.
Local Retail includes retail businesses offering all types of consumer goods for sale, not elsewhere classified in this ordinance, but excluding the display, storage and sale of goods outside the building.
16.1.1 
The retail business shall be conducted wholly within an enclosed building;
16.1.2 
Required yards shall not be used for the display, sale, or storage of merchandise or for the storage of vehicles, equipment, containers, or waste material;
16.1.3 
All merchandise shall be sold at retail on the premises;
16.1.4 
Such use shall not, because it generates odor, excessive light, smoke, dust, noise, vibration, or similar nuisance, be objectionable to neighboring owners or occupants.
16.1.5 
Other uses as listed in Section 22 of this ordinance.
16.2 
Permitted Uses for Local Retail.
A building or premise shall be used only for the following purposes: See Section 22 of this ordinance.
16.3 
Permitted Specific Uses for Local Retail.
See Section 25 of this ordinance.
16.4 
Height and Area Regulations.
See Appendix 1, Area, Setback, Height, and Coverage Regulations.
16.5 
Parking Regulations.
Off-street parking and loading shall be provided as set forth in Section 26.
