NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT
The B-2 district is established for those areas of the community where the principal use of land is to provide for the retailing of goods and services to surrounding residential neighborhoods. The regulations of the district are designed to reduce traffic and parking congestion to a minimum in order to protect the surrounding residential area.
The following are the permitted and special (S) uses in the B-2 district:

When a business in this district adjoins a residential unit or area and creates a nuisance as defined by the town zoning enforcement officer, even though separated a street, a visual screen or sound reducing buffer strip (preferably deciduous and/or evergreen trees) shall be required as defined by "buffer strip" in KBC 15.02.010.
The following are the B-2 district setback requirements:

The regulations and requirements for signs in this district shall conform to the Sign Code, KBC 15.40.
Parking shall be provided as required in KBC 15.36.170 through KBC 15.36.220; provided that off-street parking for residential uses shall only be allowed in the front yard/setback.
