Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with, or who resists the enforcement of the provisions of this Ordinance or any order, decisions or determination by the Board of Adjustment shall be subject to upon conviction thereof, a fine of not more than $200 for each offense. Each and every day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense.

In case any building or structure is, or is intended to be erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, or converted, or any building or structure is, or intended to be used in violation of, or contrary to the provisions of this Ordinance, the Zoning Officer may issue a stop order or may issue a violation notice requiring appearance in answer to the notice in municipal court. In addition, the City Attorney may, when authorized by the Governing Body and in addition to other remedies set forth in the Statutes of the State of New Jersey and in this Ordinance, institute an action to enjoin, or any other appropriate action or proceeding, to prevent such erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration, conversion to use.
