Zoning Map

§ 167-3 Incorporation of map.

The Borough of Longport is hereby divided into zoning districts as shown on the Longport Borough Zoning Map as originally adopted and as may be subsequently amended. Said map and all notations, references and dates pertaining to zoning and zoning districts shown thereon are hereby incorporated by reference into this chapter and shall be as much a part of this chapter as if they were fully described herein.[1]

§ 167-4 Determination of district boundaries.

Where uncertainty exists as to the exact location of any boundary shown on said Zoning Map, the following rules shall apply:
A. 
Zone boundary lines are intended generally to follow street lines, existing lot lines, bulkhead lines or shorelines. Where zoning boundaries do not follow such features, such boundaries shall be determined either by dimensions shown on the map or by the use of the graphic scale shown thereon.
B. 
Where a boundary line is changed by accretion, erosion or washing or where features existing on the ground are at variance with those shown on the Official Zoning Map or in other circumstances not covered by Subsection A above, the Board of Adjustment shall interpret the district boundaries.
