The following zoning classifications are hereby established within the city:

R-A Single-Family Agricultural District.

R-1 Single-Family Residential District.

R-2 Single-Family Residential District.

R-2B Single-Family Residential District.
e.
R-3 Single- and Two-Family Residential District.
f.
R-4 Medium Density Residential District.

R-5 High Density Residential District.

PUD Planned Unit Development District.

The location and boundaries of the districts established by this chapter are hereby set forth on the zoning map titled "Zoning Map of Maple Grove." The map shall be on file with the city clerk and may be referred to in this chapter as the "zoning map." The map and all of the notations, references and other information shown thereon shall have the same force and effect as if fully set forth in this chapter and is hereby made a part of this chapter by reference.

Annexed territory shall be in the R-A district unless special action is taken to place it in another district.

(a)
Zoning district boundary lines follow lot lines, railroad right-of-way lines, the center of watercourses or the corporate limit lines, all as they exist September 30, 1976.
(b)
Appeals concerning the exact location of a zoning district boundary line shall be heard by the city council serving as the board of adjustment and appeals.
(c)
When any street, alley or other public right-of-way is vacated by official action of the city, the zoning district abutting the centerline of the alley or other public right-of-way shall not be affected by such proceeding.
