DISTRICT BOUNDARIES

§ 156.015 USE DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED.

   For the purpose of these zoning regulations, the city is divided into use districts as follows:
   (A)   R-1 Districts: One-Family (single-family) Residential Districts;
   (B)   R-2 Districts: One-Family Residential Districts;
   (C)   R-3 Districts: One-Family Residential Districts;
   (D)   R-3A Districts: One-Family Residential Districts;
   (E)   R-4 Districts: One-Family Residential Districts;
   (F)   R-5A Districts: Group Houses and Garden Apartments;
   (G)   C-1 Districts: Neighborhood Shopping Districts;
   (H)   C-2 Districts: Community Shopping Districts;
   (I)   L-1 Districts: Light Manufacturing Districts;
   (J)   L-2 Districts: Light Manufacturing Districts; and
   (K)   L-3 Districts: Motor Freight Terminal Districts.

§ 156.016 LOCATION AND BOUNDARIES OF DISTRICTS.

   The locations and boundaries of the classes of districts are shown upon the map, attached to and made a part of the Zoning Code of the city which became effective 8-26-1956, being designated as “Zoning Districts, City of Markham, Illinois”, and the map as subsequently amended and modified by ordinance and all notations, references and other matters shown thereon, shall be as much a part of this chapter as if the matters set forth by the map were fully described in this chapter.

§ 156.017 ANNEXED LAND.

   All territory which may be annexed to the city after 8-26-1956, shall automatically be classed as lying and being in the R-1 District, until such classification is changed by an amendment to these zoning regulations, as provided by law.
