Wall | Wall signs shall be allowed based on the building face fronting on a public street, highway, private roads, and commercial parking lots, but not alleys, service drives or loading dock areas. The sign area shall be computed at 1 square foot for each linear foot of front building face, or tenant space frontage, the total not to exceed 300 square feet per sign. The total square footage allowed for signs on a building may be divided to accommodate multiple signs or signs on alternate (other than the front) facades. No signs are allowed on alternate facades that are within 100 feet of a residential district unless separated by a roadway. Where multiple signs are used for a single business or tenant space, the total aggregate sign square footage for all signs shall not exceed the total square footage allowed. |
