CHAPTER 110

08.- ZONING DISTRICTS

Sec. 110.08.010.- Intent and purpose.

The purpose of this section is to provide for different zoning district classifications to promote consistent and orderly development, minimize negative impacts from adjacent land uses, and provide for the health, safety and general welfare of the present and future inhabitants of the county.

Sec. 110.08.020. - Classification of zoning districts.

For the purpose of this chapter, the following zoning districts, which may also be referred to as zones, are hereby established:

Sec. 110.08.030. - Zoning map.

The boundaries of the zones established by this chapter are indicated on a map entitled Official Zoning Map of Nez Perce County, which is hereby adopted by reference and incorporated into this chapter as though fully set forth herein. The boundaries may be modified by zoning map amendments, which amendments shall be adopted into this chapter by reference. A certified print of the adopted map or subsequent amended map shall be maintained in the office of the county recorder as long as this chapter remains in effect, and is available for public examination and purchase during normal business hours.

Sec. 110.08.040. - Zoning district boundaries.

Unless otherwise specified, zone boundaries are section lines, subdivision lines, lot lines, centerlines of roads, railroad rights-of-way, rivers or creeks, or such lines extended.
