For the purpose of this ordinance, the city shall be divided into the following Districts, and the uses of structures and land, the height of buildings, and the area of premises for buildings are to be uniform in each District:

The boundaries of said districts shall be shown on the Official Zoning Map in the City Hall. No buildings shall be erected or premises used for any purpose unless in compliance with the restrictions prescribed for the district in which the building or premises is located.
