Sec. 2.01.00

General regulations.

2.01.01

Compliance with regulations.

All buildings or structures hereafter erected, reconstructed, altered, enlarged or moved in the incorporated area of Orange Park, Florida shall be in conformity with the provisions of this ordinance.

2.01.02

Encroachment and reduction of lot area.

The minimum yards, parking spaces, open spaces, including lot area per family required by this ordinance for all buildings in existence at the time of passage of these regulations or for all buildings hereafter erected, shall not be encroached upon or considered as required yard or open space for any other building, except as hereinafter provided, nor shall any lot area be reduced below the requirements of these regulations.

2.01.03

Accessory buildings.

Except for temporary storage of building supplies during the period of construction of the main use building, no accessory building shall be used or occupied until the main use building on the lot is being used. This restriction shall not apply to boat docks, boat houses and well houses.

2.01.04

Conflict with other public laws, regulations or permits.

This article is intended to complement other municipal, state and federal regulations that affect land use. This article is not intended to revoke or repeal any other public law, ordinance, regulation, or permit. However, where conditions, standards, or requirements imposed by any provision of This article are either more restrictive or less restrictive than applicable standards imposed by any other applicable public law, ordinance, or regulation, the provisions that are more restrictive or that impose higher standards or requirements shall govern.
