32.12 ZONING

DISTRICTS ESTABLISHED; ZONING MAP

32.12.010 Use Districts

In order to carry out the purposes and provisions of this chapter, the city is hereby divided into the following districts:

  1. Residential districts:
    1. Residential R-1 One-Family District.
    2. Residential R-2 One- and Two-Family Districts.
    3. Residential R-3 Multifamily District.
  2. Commercial districts:
    1. B General Business
    2. B-1 Commercial.
    3. B-2 Commercial Highway Business.
    4. RF Riverfront Commercial.
  3. Industrial district.

32.12.020 District Boundaries

The district boundary line shall be interpreted as being a street or an alley. Where any uncertainty may exist as to the exact boundary line, the same shall be determined by the board of appeals and a record kept thereof.

32.12.030 Zoning Map

The locations and boundaries of the districts established in this chapter are shown upon the zoning map, which is hereby incorporated in this chapter. The zoning map, together with all notations, references and other information shown thereon, and all amendments thereto, shall be a part of this chapter and shall have the same force and effect as if the zoning map, together with all notations, references, and other information shown thereon, were fully set forth and described herein.
