SECTION 19

I - INSTITUTIONAL DISTRICT

§ 19.1 General Purpose and Description.

The Institutional District “I” prefix is intended to provide for uses of a generally noncommercial institutional and/or group quarters character. Such uses typically have uses which are not compatible with low and medium density residential development but which often have residential characteristics or have symbiotic relationships with residential neighborhoods.

§ 19.2 Permitted Uses.

Uses as listed in Section 22 of this ordinance.

§ 19.3 Permitted Specific Uses.

The following specific uses shall be permitted in the I District when granted in accordance with Section 25:

§ 19.4 Height and Area Regulations.

§ 19.5 Parking Regulations.

Required off-street parking shall be provided in accordance with the specific uses set forth in Section 26.
