Applications for special use permits shall be processed in the same manner as are zoning amendments in Article
X of this Chapter. Upon receipt of a special use permit application, the Planning and Zoning Commission shall notify all persons who own property within two hundred (200) feet of the special use site. Notice shall be provided fifteen (15) days prior to the Planning and Zoning Commission's meeting when said application will be considered. The petitioner shall present a receipt from the City Clerk showing payment of a filing fee of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) plus two dollars ($2.00) for each lot or unit shown on the plot plan. The petitioner shall submit the application, as well as plans or drawings of the proposed development, ten (10) working days prior to the meeting at which the application will be reviewed. The Planning and Zoning Commission may require a thirty (30) day review period before recommending approval or denial of the proposal.
