Historic preservation. Pursuant to §
62.23(7)(em), Wis. Stats., in all zoning districts of the City every building, property, place, structure, object or landmark listed on, or within and contributing to a historic district listed on, the National Register of Historic Places in Wisconsin or the State Register of Historic Places, or identified as potentially eligible to be listed on such national or state register, or listed on those certain inventories of historic places maintained by the City, namely the Intensive Survey Report (1998), as supplemented by the City of Port Washington, Wisconsin Architectural and Historical Intensive Survey Report (2022), as such registers, identification or inventories may be amended or supplemented from time to time, and every building, property, place, structure, object or landmark subsequently designated by the Common Council with the consent of the owner as having historic or archaeological significance, including groups of properties designated by the Common Council as a historic district, shall be regulated as provided in §§
485-131 through
485-135, inclusive.
