The purpose of the R-1 Suburban Residential District is to protect the amenities of certain areas of Rosslyn Farms Borough where the pattern has already been established with single family development on relatively large lots; and to allow certain additional compatible uses such as schools, parks, churches, and certain public facilities which serve the residents of the Zoning District.
§ 190-701 Authorized uses.
In the R-1, Suburban Residential, District only the following uses are authorized:
Accessory Uses customarily incidental to and on the same lot with any permitted use, conditional use or use by special exception authorized in this Zoning District.
Expansion of Nonconforming Use, subject to § 1303.9 and § 1601.4
§ 190-702 Area and bulk regulations.
In the R-1, Suburban Residential, District, all uses shall be subject to the following regulations, except as they may be modified by the express standards and criteria for the specific conditional uses and uses by special exception contained in Article XIII.
