1301

Uses subject to special conditions.

The following uses shall be permitted subject to the conditions herein imposed:

1.

Automobile or other machinery assembly plants subject to adequate control of noise and/or other nuisances.

2.

Painting, varnishing and undercoating shops when set back at least seventy-five (75) feet from any adjacent residential district and provided further that such operation be conducted within a completely enclosed building.

3.

Metal plating, buffing and polishing, subject to appropriate measures to control the type of process to prevent noxious results and/or nuisances.

4.

Other uses of a similar and no more objectionable character, and which will not be injurious or have an adverse affect on adjacent areas, and may therefore be permitted subject to such conditions, restrictions and safeguards as may be deemed necessary in the interest of public health, safety, and welfare.

5.

Accessory buildings and uses customarily incident to any of the above uses.

1302.   Required conditions.

Any use established in the I-1 District shall be operated so as to comply with the performance standards set forth in the [Section 10-1.17] "GENERAL PROVISIONS" of this Ordinance.

See [Section 10-1.16] "SCHEDULE OF REGULATIONS" limiting height and bulk of a building.
