THE REPUBLICATION
This Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) specifies minimum standards for land use and development within the Town of Smithfield's planning jurisdiction. The regulations contained herein may exceed minimum state or federal standards, but in no case should be considered to be less than minimum state or federal standards.
Source materials used in the preparation of the republication were the Town Unified Development Ordinance, as updated through August 2, 2017, and subsequent ordinances. The source of each new section is included in the history note appearing in parentheses at the end thereof. The absence of such a note indicates that the section is part of the 2017 Code. By use of the comparative tables appearing in the back of this republication, the reader can locate any section of the Code, as updated.
