CHAPTER 5

AGRICULTURAL-RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS

10-5A-1: PURPOSE:

The purpose of this district is to preserve appropriate areas of the Town for agricultural-residential use. In addition to residential use, all uses normally and necessarily to agricultural operations are permitted.

10-5A-2: PERMITTED USES:

Within the Agricultural-Residential District, no building, structure, premises or land shall be used, except for one or more of the following uses:
Agriculture, farming, ranching, animal husbandry and their related uses and facilities; provided, that the care and maintenance of all livestock shall conform to the supplemental regulations of this title.
Customary accessory uses and structures.
Churches and schools, single modular homes.
One single-family residence per lot.
Public parks and playgrounds.
Public utilities and facilities, as well as maintenance of the same, providing they comply with the setback requirements.

10-5A-4: MAXIMUM BUILDING HEIGHT:

   A.   Main Building: Thirty five feet (35') or 10.67 meters.
   B.   Accessory Building: Thirty five feet (35') or 10.67 meters.

10-5A-5: GENERAL REGULATIONS:

Use of land in this district shall also conform to all the requirements of chapter 7 of this title.

Within the agricultural-residential-duplex, no building, structure, premises or land shall be used, except for one or more of the following uses:
Any authorized use in A-R-1 District and duplex homes.
