- OFF-STREET LOADING REGULATIONS
14-100. All retail, industrial, and service structures shall provide and maintain off-street facilities for receiving and loading merchandise, supplies and materials within a building as follows:
(a)
Off-street loading space shall consist of a minimum area of ten (10) feet by forty-five (45) feet.
(b)
The number of spaces or berths shall be provided in accordance with the following schedule:
(c)
Access or drives to all off-street loading spaces and berths shall be located on private property, said direct access or drives to a loading space shall be from within the property line of said use. No direct access to a public right-of-way shall be permitted.
(d)
All loading spaces or berths shall be screened with a solid wall so as not to be visible from any public right-of-way or adjacent property, provided, however, an opening in said wall is permitted for access.
