The regulations presented in this ordinance shall apply to all property within the corporate limits of the City of Thomasville, North Carolina as well as to all property outside the corporate limits shown on the Official Zoning Map of the City of Thomasville and designated extraterritorial jurisdiction pursuant to G.S. 160D-202, and recorded in the office of The Register of Deeds of Davidson County, North Carolina.

This ordinance shall in no way regulate, restrict, prohibit, or otherwise deter any bona fide farm and its related uses in the Extra Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ), except that any use of such property for non-farm purposes shall be subject to such regulations.
