To provide certain land use and control measures in accordance with criteria and requirements of Section 60.3(d) of the National Flood Insurance Program Regulations issued by the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency.

All areas identified as the one-hundred-year flood boundary and floodway adjacent to the Schuylkill River and tributaries thereto within the Township of Tilden and as shown on the Federal Insurance Administration Flood Boundary and Floodway Map Community Panel No. 4211120001-0010 and Flood Insurance Rate Map Community Panel No. 42111200010B.

The Zoning Officer shall review all applications for zoning permits to ensure compliance with the Townships floodplain requirements as set forth in Chapter 255, Floodplain Management, as may be amended from time to time.

All areas designated as floodplain within the meaning of § 500-59 shall be governed by the regulations applicable to the various zoning districts of this chapter, insofar as the same relates to permitted uses, area, yard and height regulations together with general regulations applicable to said zoning districts.
