Permitted uses in the C conservation district are:

Large scale residential developments in accordance with chapter 9 of this title.
Privately operated outdoor recreational facilities, including riding stables, lakes, swimming pools, tennis courts and golf courses, provided they are located on sites containing not less than five (5) acres.
Public and private schools.
Public parks and forest preserves.
Single-family dwellings on lots of five (5) acres or more.

9-5-3: BUILDING HEIGHT:
No building or structure shall hereafter be erected, altered or enlarged to exceed two and one-half (21/2) stories, nor to exceed thirty five feet (35') in height, except farm buildings. (Ord., 5-13-1968)
9-5-4: YARDS AND LOTS:
No building or structure shall hereafter be erected and no building or structure shall hereafter be enlarged which would, when erected, conflict with, or when enlarged or altered, would further conflict with, the following requirements for yards and lot areas and coverage of lots: (Ord., 5-13-1968)
A. Yards:
1. Front Yard: There shall be a front yard of not less than thirty feet (30'). (Ord., 5-13-1968; amd. Ord., 5-4-1981)
2. Side Yards: On corner and interior lots, there shall be a side yard on each side of a main building of not less than twenty feet (20') and a combined total of side yards of not less than forty five feet (45').
3. Rear Yard: There shall be a rear yard having an average depth of not less than fifty feet (50').
