Landscape plan showing all existing natural land features, trees, forest cover and all proposed changes to these features, including size and type of plant material. The plan shall show any trees and/or vegetation which is proposed to be removed for purposes of providing greater solar access. Removal of existing trees larger than six inches in diameter shall be minimized to the greatest extent possible. Noninvasive, native ground cover, under and between the rows of solar panels shall be low-maintenance, drought-resistant, non-fertilizer-dependent and shall be pollinator-friendly to provide a habitat for bees, birds, bats, and other insects or wildlife that pollinate flowering plants, and includes both wild and managed insects. Herbicides are prohibited except where the Planning Board finds it impractical to use mechanical means to control vegetation.
