Landfill-type dumps or areas for incinerator sites for refuse disposal when owned, operated or under control of the Town of Vernon or a non-profit refuse disposal district of corporation, are permitted in any zone district subject to the following conditions:

The decision of the Planning & Zoning Commission should be made in accordance with the provisions of Section 17.3, "Special Uses".

8.1.2

The site and method of operation has been approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission of the Town of Vernon after a public hearing.
