Any person, firm or corporation violating or failing to comply with any of the requirements of this title shall be guilty of an offense and, if convicted in municipal court, be subject to a fine not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) but not to exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00), to be determined by the municipal court, plus court costs. Each day such violation is permitted to exist constitutes a separate offense. The number of days of said separate offenses shall be determined by the municipal court. It shall not be necessary for a citation to be issued on each day of the continuing offense after the initial citation is issued. The owner, or owners, of any building, structure, or land or part thereof where anything in violation of this title exists, and any architect, builder, contractor, individual, person, firm or corporation employed in connection therewith who may assist in the commission of any such violation, is guilty of a separate offense and, if convicted in municipal court, shall be fined as provided for in this section.
