Westport City Zoning Code

The purpose of the Conservation and Traffic Mitigations Overlay District (CTMOD) is to require a minimum number of off-street motor vehicle parking spaces for a residential development that contains sixteen (16) or fewer dwelling units.

No such district shall be larger than four per cent of the Town’s land area, and such zones may be contiguous. Upon adoption of a CTMD, the Commission shall submit a property description of the district to the Secretary of the Office of Policy and Management.

The proposed developer of a residential development with sixteen (16) or fewer dwelling units located in a CTMD may submit a Parking Needs Assessment to the Planning and Zoning Commission in accordance with the requirements in §34-14.
