ARTICLE III

Establishment of Districts

§ 138-4 Establishment of districts.

A. 
The Town of Ballston is hereby divided into the following types of districts:
Hamlet Residential District (HR)
Ballston Lake Residential District (BLR)
Mixed Use Route 50/67 (MU Route 50/67)
Burnt Hills Commercial (BHC)
Mixed Use Ballston Lake District (MU BL)
Ballston Lake Waterfront District (BLW)
Business District (B)
Rural Highway Transition District (RHT)
Rural District (R)
Light Industrial District (LI)
Senior Housing District (SH)
Watershed Protection Overlay District (WPO)
Billboard Overlay District (See § 138-75) (BO)
B. 
Said districts are bounded and defined as shown on maps entitled "Zoning Map of the Town of Ballston" (Zoning Map) as may be amended from time to time and adopted, certified and held by the Town Clerk. Where uncertainty exists with respect to the boundaries of any of the aforesaid districts as shown on the Zoning Map, the following rules shall apply:
(1) 
Where district boundaries are indicated as approximately following the centerlines of streets or highways, street lines or highway right-of-way lines, such centerlines, street lines or highway right-of-way lines shall be construed to be such boundaries.
(2) 
Where district boundaries are so indicated that they are approximately parallel to the centerlines of streets or highways, street lines or highway right-of-way lines, such district boundaries shall be construed as being parallel thereto and at such distance therefrom as indicated on the Zoning Map. If no distance is given, such dimensions shall be determined by the use of the scale shown on the Zoning Map.
