ZONING DISTRICTS
Chapter 1131 Districts; Map; Boundaries

For the purpose of this Zoning Code, the City is hereby divided into districts which shall be known, in order of restrictiveness beginning with the most restrictive, as:
(a)
First Residence District;
(b)
Third Residence District;
(c)
Cluster Development District;
(d)
Attached Residence District;
(e)
Local Residence District;
(f)
Apartment District;
(g)
Administrative Office and Apartment House District;
(h)
Office District;
(i)
Automobile Parking District;
(j)
Retail Business District;
(k)
Commercial Business District;
(l)
Research Development and Limited Manufacturing District.

The boundaries of each of the districts provided for in C.O. 1131.01 are hereby designated as shown on the map entitled "Zone Map No. 2 of the City of Bay Village," dated October 3, 1972, and signed by the Mayor, the Director of Public Service and Properties, the Chairman of the Planning Commission, and the President of Council, which map is attached to and shall be a part of this Zoning Code. The district boundary lines are intended to follow the center lines of streets or their extensions, or lot lines (other than street lines) or their extensions. Where a district boundary line apparently follows lot lines and is not more than ten feet therefrom, the lot lines shall be construed to be such boundary line. Where a district boundary line apparently follows streets, the center lines of such streets shall be construed to be such boundary line. In other cases, the locations of any district boundary line, unless indicated by dimensions on the Zone Map, shall be determined by use of the scale thereon.

Where a lot is located in two or more districts, the provisions of this Zoning Code for the most restricted of such districts shall apply to such entire lot.
