CHAPTER 17

104 - ENFORCEMENT

17.104.010 - Violation and penalty.

Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with, or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this title, shall be fined not less than five dollars nor more than two thousand dollars for each offense. Each day that a violation exists shall constitute a separate offense. This penalty should not be construed as exclusive, and the city is hereby provided that any other remedy available to it, in law or in equity, is not intended to be, and is not, foreclosed by the provision of such penalty.

17.104.020 - Enforcement.

The provisions of this title shall be administered by the city manager or his duly authorized representatives. The planning director or any duly authorized person shall have the right to enter upon any premises at any reasonable time for the purpose of making inspection of buildings or premises necessary to carry out the enforcement of this title.

17.104.030 - Injunctive relief.

The city shall have and retain the right to seek injunctive relief and/or civil penalties against any person, firm or corporation who is in the process of or about to violate any section, paragraph or part of this title. Such right for injunctive relief and/or civil penalties shall exist independent of the other penalty provisions of this title and not in lieu thereof.
