The Mayor and City Council of the City of Buena Vista, Georgia, under the authority of the 1982 Georgia Constitution, as amended, and for the purpose of promoting the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity, or the general welfare of the municipality and designed to lessen congestion in the streets; to secure safety from fire, panic, and other dangers; to promote health and the general welfare; to provide adequate light and air, to prevent the overcrowding of land, to avoid undue concentration of population; to facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewerage, schools, parks, and other public requirements, hereby ordains and enacts into law an official zoning ordinance for the incorporated area of the City of Buena Vista.
