XV VIOLATION

PENALTY, ENFORCEMENT

VIOLATION AND PENALTY
Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, refuses to comply with, or who resists enforcement of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than $100.00 nor more than $750.00 for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
ENFORCEMENT
The Community Development Director is hereby designated and authorized to enforce this Ordinance or to appoint an enforcement officer with the same authority. However, it shall also be the duty of all officers, citizens, and employees of the Village, particularly of all members of the police department, to assist the Community Development Director by reporting to him any new construction, reconstruction, improved land uses, or any other activity which appears to constitute a violation of this Ordinance.
