SECTION 40

- GENERAL ZONING DISTRICT PROVISIONS

1.- Establishment.

In order to classify, regulate, and restrict the location of trade and industry and the location of buildings designated for specific uses, to regulate and limit the height and bulk of buildings hereafter erected or altered, to regulate and limit the intensity of the use of lot areas, and to regulate and determine the areas of yards, recreation, and open space within and surrounding such buildings, the City of East Bethel is hereby divided into zoning districts. The use, height, and area regulations shall be uniform in each district. Said districts shall be known as:

Agricultural

A Agricultural district

 

Residential

RR Rural residential district
R-1 Single-family residential district
R-2 Single-family and townhome district
CL Coon Lake residential district

 

Commercial

B-1 Limited business district
B-2 Central business district
B-3 Highway business district
I Light industrial business district
MXU Mixed use district

 

Overlay

PUD Planned unit development district
SNEA Significant natural environmental area overlay district
SM Shoreland management overlay district
FP Floodplain management overlay district
