It is the purpose of the B-G Business-General District to provide for the wide variety of needs for both convenience goods and the more common and often recurring shopping goods and personal and household services.

   Principally permitted uses are as follows:

   A.   Allied Health Facilities.

   B.   Automotive Sales.

   C.   Child Care Facilities.

   D.   Clubs.

   E.   Commercial Recreation.

   F.   Commercial Schools.

   G.   Convenience Business.

   H.   Dental and Medical Clinics.

   I.   Drive-In Facilities.

   J.   Educational Institutions.

   K.   Fast Food Restaurants.

   L.   Financial Institutions.

   M.   Government Buildings

   N.   Health Unit Office.

   O.   Hospitals.

   P.   Hotels/Motels.

   Q.    Kennels.

   R.   Neighborhood Retail Business.

   S.   Non-Commercial Recreation.

   U.   Off-Premises Signs.

   V.   Offices.

   W.   Public Parking Area.

   X.   Personal Services.

   Y.   Printing and Publishing.

   Z.   Religious Places of Worship.

   AA.   Research and Development Laboratories.

   BB.   Residential, Except Detached Dwellings of Three (3) Households or Less.

   CC.   Restaurants.

   DD.   Retail Business.

   EE.   Shopping Center.

   FF.   Taverns.

   GG.   Veterinarian Office/Animal Hospital.

   HH.   Wholesale Businesses.

   II.   Any other use determined by the Building Inspector to be of the same general character as the above permitted uses.

   Permitted accessory uses are as follows:

   A.   Any use customary and incidental to the permitted use.

   B.   Signs as regulated in Chapters 1173 and 1174.

   Accessory uses, other than signs, fences and parking facilities shall be located in the rear yard only and located not closer than six (6) feet from any lot line and covering not more than thirty-five percent (35%) of the required rear yard.

   Conditionally permitted uses are as follows:

   A.   Building Materials and Related Trades.

   B.   Cellular Communication Sites.

   C.   Contract Construction Services.

   D.   Motor Vehicle Cleaning Facility.

   E.   Medical Marijuana Dispensaries.

   There shall be no minimum lot area or width for properties in the B-G Business- General District.

   There shall be no minimum front yard setback for properties in the B-G Business- General District except when the property abuts an R-District, in which case the minimum front yard setback shall be twenty (20) feet.

   There shall be no minimum side yard setback for properties in the B-G Business- General District except when the property abuts any R-District, in which case the minimum side yard setback shall be ten (10) feet.

   The minimum rear yard setback for properties in the B-G Business-General District shall be twenty (20) feet.

   The maximum height regulations for properties in a B-G Business-General District shall be as follows:

   A.   No principal building shall exceed forty (40) feet in height.

   B.   No public building shall exceed seventy-five (75) feet in height.

   C.   No accessory building shall exceed twenty-five (25) feet in height.

   Off-street parking and loading shall be as specified in Chapter 1175.
