- MINIMUM LOT AREAS AND WIDTHS
The following minimum lot widths, minimum lot areas, and minimum lot areas per family shall apply in the districts indicated:

Residential lots platted before the effective date of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived shall be considered nonconforming if they contain less than 6,000 square feet in area or are less than 50 feet in width.

On any lot separately owned on the effective date of the ordinance from which this chapter is derived, a single-family house may be erected even though of less area than required by these regulations.
