This Zoning Code hereby repeals and amends Chapter 21 "Zoning Code" of the City of Greenfield, Wisconsin Municipal Code.

The City of Greenfield Common Council held a public hearing on this Zoning Code text for the City of Greenfield pursuant to the requirements of Sections 62.23(7) of the Wisconsin Statutes on March 17, 1998 and on the Official Zoning Map for the City of Greenfield pursuant to the requirements of Sections 62.23(7) of the Wisconsin Statutes on March 31, 1998.

The Plan Commission recommended to the Common Council the adoption of this Zoning Code text at its meeting held on December 17, 1997. The Plan Commission recommended to the Common Council the adoption of this Zoning Code Official Zoning Map at its meeting held on February 10, 1998.

The Common Council of the City of Greenfield concurred with the recommendations of the Plan Commission and proceeded to adopt the Zoning Code at a meeting held on April 8, 1998.

This Zoning Code shall take effect upon passage and adoption by the Common Council and the filing of proof of posting or publication in the Office of the City Clerk.
